About the Artist

LINDA MCINTYRE is a well-known South Florida attorney. After more than two decades in the fast lane, McIntyre awakened one morning and asked the question, 'If there was anything in the world that you could be doing today, what would it be?'
Not long after, McIntyre moved into a small storefront gallery in Delray Beach and began to design greeting cards. In the studio, the music of Rod Stewart competes with the noise of the street, the lamp oil scent is from Paris, CNN is a constant, and the telephones continue to ring, but somehow, in the midst of this assault on the senses, McIntyre's images appear on the drawing board.
The studio is open each morning to visitors who share their own stories as they look for the perfect card. It is not at all unusual for a customer to share a point of celebration or a moment of loss with others who just happen to be there. "This interaction is an important part of the experience," says McIntyre.
It is McIntyre's hope that her cards will 'go out into the world' landing in the right place, with a message that was meant to be said. For that reason, the cards are and will remain 'blank inside.' She tells her customers, "You're going to have to write something of your own on this card; something meaningful, something from your heart."
